Headquartered in Edgewater, Maryland, Greene Turtle is a family-oriented chain of full-service restaurants and sports bars. The first location opened in 1976 in Ocean City, Maryland.

Greene Turtle started franchising in 2003 and today has dozens of restaurants, concentrated mostly in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Greene Turtle restaurants specialize in American-style fare for lunch as well as dinnertime, including wings, sandwiches, tacos, pizzas, and burgers.
