Ron Teitelbaum founded Johnny Rockets in 1986 to replicate the 1940s malt shops of his childhood, a brand image that remains to this day. The restaurant chain is known for its hand-spun milk shakes, but has an extensive menu of burgers, sandwiches, salads and more.

Johnny Rockets is owned by FAT Brands, which also owns brands including Round Table Pizza, Elevation Burger and Great American Cookies.
