Housemaster is a home inspections franchise that services both the buy and sell sides of the market. The brand partners with the National Institute for Building Inspectors to train franchisees and offers cloud-based tool to estimate repair costs based on inspections.

Ken Austin started the business in 1971 and began franchising under the Housemaster name in 1979. Today, Housemaster is owned by Neighborly, a home services franchisor that owns numerous brands, including Aireserv, Portland Glass and Mr. Electric.
