Company Description
Joe Croce and Mike Cole founded Cicis, a buffet-style pizza chain, in 1985 in Plano, Texas. It began franchising in 1987 and grew rapidly, peaking at more than 500 stores in the early 2000s. The brand has 275 units, many of them in southern states.
Cici’s filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in early 2021. It was purchased by D&G Investors, a partnership between SSCP Management and Gala Capital Partners.
